My first pointer to US trip!!....

Reached Bangalore Airport at 9 pm(Sat 29th). Flight was at 12:05(00:05 AM) mid night..Since it was my first international trip, parents were bit tensed and my mind was totally blank for various reasons...Few of my close friends also came to say bye...I got some confidence by looking at them... Went thru baggage checking and immigration... Asked for small things even though I knew most of them till I sat down in plane!!
It was very hard to say good bye to parents and brother as they wanted stay with me after long time and I was moving far... yet again!!
While going towards flight, came across a girl who was asked me for help!! I could tell few things as I had already asked for those!...But, in the end I clarified that "I hope so..." !! Not a bad situation to be in with a beautiful girl asking u for help!
I just moved ahead leaving her as millions of calculation were going inside my grey cells...I was on call with brother and parents till I boarded the flight...Messaged few dear ones...and the instruction came to switch off the mobile :(... with a sad note I switched off and that was the last time I used that SIM...
A 'Hi' came from a row behind me!! It was the same girl!!...I smiled back and she was sitting diagonally opposite, one row behind!! Talked for few min..mostly about each other.. and whole board went silent...I told her good night and started to read some magazines....suddenly came the food!!...Ate properly with eyes almost closed as I was totally tired at that moment! I
Opened my eyes...I was in Singapore!! Early morning.. 2 and half hours behind India.. Got down... Started moving towards my next flight counter...and met her again on the way!... She was doing her degree in Singapore on biotech.. I wished her 'All the best'...before saying bye she gave me her email-id(forgot where did I write that)...and I gave her my visiting card(used it oooppsss!!)
Singapore Airport was beautiful...Its like a big Mall!! Did window shopping for 2 hours!!..then went for checking and boarded flight to Hong Kong...A Cathe Pacific flight full of Chinese :)....I had to ask for Indian vegetarian food!! ....For them, normal Vegetarian means different!!
Landed in Hong Kong, time is same as Singapore...Another beautiful Airport surrounded by mountains and sea...Sight was so beautiful..I was looking outside through big glass window for few min without blinking my eyes!... Then!! yep, window shopping! Lots of Chinese stuffs there...couldn't eat anything(u guessed it!).. Oops guys n girls..and their dresses! They hardly wore anything!!...Then one strange experience happened....
Slid slowly in to a book shop with very few English books...slowly went to magazine section...I could only find X rated books and free DVDs with that! I was so embarrassed...and suddenly one Chinese girl came and picked few magazines and went off...so casual!.... I was thinking..."and Chinese people talk so much about population control!!"...
Flew to San Francisco... it was around 3 pm (Sunday 30th)...Totally 26 hrs of journey from India!! Well..Toilet and Tissue papers...I hated them the most during that!! Went thru immigration check, customs check.. and it was so smooth!! unlike what people said!...
Took a taxi to Sunnyvale, a taxi driver who couldn't speak proper English....Fortunately a Desi guy!! that too from Punjab.... When I told him that he looked like a Mexican...He said "Jaisa desh, waisa vesh"!!...hmmmm..nice thought!...We spoke in Hindi till we reached hotel...strange thing was.. he couldn't believe that I am a South Indian!! He thought I was from Delhi!.. Paid him in dollars(first time in my life!)..He gave me his number and said any problem just dial this number...I said thank you BHAYYA!..
Got the Room access card and stepped in to the room..... and I realized..."my US ADVENTURES started"......
